You may be asking… “Who are you? and why are you writing about personal finance?“.

Thank you for asking! I am a 23 year old recent university graduate with a passion for all things finance. Ever since the age of about 15 I have been deeply interested in understanding the mechanics of how the financial world works and how best to optimize my own personal financial situation.

I have created MoneyAndWealth.ca to share my knowledge of personal finance and investing with other Canadians. My goal is to help educate by creating a series of articles on popular personal finance and investing topics and hopefully transform what can sometimes be seen as a complex subject into simplified terms.

My motives are not completely unselfish however. Through my articles I hope to spark a constructive discussion with my readers which will translate into an increase in my knowledge as well. I will be the first to admit that I don’t know everything and find that the internet is a great tool for taking the collective reasoning of a group and deducting a better answer then you would have achieved on an individual level.
